The Daily Painting by Carol Marine is very interesting. It has many ways of guiding you to creating magnificent work through painting! I myself find painting to be a relaxing and creative way to share your views of everyday objects around you.
Unlike sketching, painting is something that takes a little more work to get the right look to the object your painting.
However, her idea in this book is to take painting down to smaller sizes, allowing you to feel less overwhelm and to work with one object at a time. Once acquire the smaller images, you than have the possibility to build to larger and multiple item pictures.
I love how she makes it easier for the beginner to understand where to start when you want to begin painting. You learn so much about the benefits of creating small paintings and often and how your more inspired to create more art work than you would be making one large piece.
I know when I have not much time and feel a bit warned out by the day. I don’t feel up to doing a large painting and end up skipping out on the entire idea of painting. However, when you can do it on a smaller scale, which requires less work to do and less overwhelmed feeling to finish, than you’ll feel more at ease and be able to do what you love. Plus, when your trying to learn and grown from this new hobby, it is an awesome way to give yourself practice by creating small objects you use day to day like a fork, an apple, a doughnut or just about anything.
She has such beautiful images painted in this book, I also love the tips she helps us out. Just looking in this book at the painted pictures, I just want to get out my easel, brushes, paints and canvas and start painting whatever I see around me.
